Love it or hate it?

Maps as blinds for a classroom, kids' playroom, homeschool room?

I like the idea, but I don't know about how it would actually look in real life. Also, would you actually pull them down enough to see whatever is on them?

And most importantly, will I be lucky enough to get a room with windows next year??

This is the first year I've been in a room without windows and I hate it. The room is set up pretty well, but the lack of actual daylight makes me crazy. That, and I am the closest to the door so random people feel the need to pop in constantly.

I like it. I think it looks pretty cool in the picture, where you can see the map peeping through at the top.

LOVE it! It is there when you need it and you can roll it up for tests.

dmd, I hear you. I teach in one room that's on the main hallway and there are always people poking their heads in. Including a kid dressed as a banana. He was one of my students from another class, but I never got an answer to my question: WHY? Seniors are just goofy.

P.S. And that room is a cave and it's makes me itchy. As soon as class is over I flee up to the library so I can sit in the sun.
